I'm a pop culture junkie who reads and listens to music and writes and otherwise is actively engaged with expression. I've always been interested in writing and drawing, and more recently design and layout, which has (outside of the professional setting) manifested itself in drawing and designing, making the occasional gig poster, taking photographs, and other pursuits.

I spent a few years working as a substitute teacher. I enjoyed the variety and experiences that subbing provided, but decided to seek out a position with more possibly for growth. I looked outside the industry and found a position as a copywriter and general go-to man in the advertising department of an online/catalog retailer, which eventually evolved into a position as company webmaster. I recently returned to work in the public schools while I seek out a new position building upon my recent experiences and enhanced skills.
